GAME RULES 3rd/4th
-
The league focuses on learning, teamwork, and fun, not just competition.
-
Games have two 16-minute halves with a running clock, stopping only for timeouts, injuries, and the final 2 minutes of each half.
-
Mass substitutions happen around the 12:00, 8:00, and 4:00-minute marks of each half.
-
Every player must play at least 12 minutes and sit at least 8 minutes in the first 24 minutes.
-
The last 8 minutes allow free substitutions as long as all players have met their time requirements.
-
Teams must play man-to-man defense only – no zones and no double-teaming outside the paint.
-
Pressing (full-court defense) is allowed only in the last 2 minutes of each half and not if ahead by 10+ points.
-
No stealing off the dribble if your team is up by 10 or more, but stealing passes is always allowed.
-
Players may shoot free throws from the 12-foot line instead of the regulation distance.
-
Each team gets two 30-second timeouts per game.
